Rick Hintze makes a variety of functional stoneware and porcelain pots including coffee mugs, teabowls, pitchers, teapots, baking and serving dishes, bowls, platters, vases, bottles, jars, and many other unique pieces. The ware is reduction fired in a natural gas kiln to about 2400 degrees. Hand-built clay sculpture is also displayed within the studio.
